"With pleasure," Nao said with a smirk.
Grabbing his switchblade from the man's leg, he raised it again for another strike but stopped when he heard a whistle.
"Fuck. Run!" he told his group before they made a break for it down another path in the alley.
As soon as they disappeared, a police officer came along. "T-toshi-san?!" came a worried voice as the man came closer. "You're bleeding! What happened? Were you mugged?!". Atsushi Maruyama, one of the towns patrol men and Morikawa-sensei's sick boyfriend, looked at the older in worry before pulling out his phone to call an ambulance.
